Volunteers 2019-20

Volunteering with Trishul NGO gives you an opportunity to work with an NGO at grassroots level of philanthropy. 

Mentoring children, helping them with education, fund raising for their scholarships, books, nutrition, clothes etc.  

Helping Women become Empowered Artisans and also helping them with their livelihood generation.

Volunteering for Business Development; Fundraising; back office help etc.

By volunteeringstudents develop life skills and become well-rounded individuals. ... They develop life skills as they get immersed in activities that are outside of their comfort zones. Volunteering helps students become competent, employable, and better meet their learning objectives.

Volunteer Sunandan Divatia School of Science

Students of Sunanda Divatia School of ScienceFreyan Vakharia, Lekha Bhagtaney and Saloni volunteered with Trishul NGO

Freyan Vakharia worked with Trishul Learning Centre (Free Learning Centre for Slum Children) helping with children's academics; field trips; volunteering for escorting children during various inter-ngo competition.

Volunteer NMIMS - Ishana

Student of NMIMS College, Ishana Mantri an Intern volunteer with Trishul Learning Centre

Ishana Mantri a student of NMIMS, has all the qualities that are required from an MBA student and a professional corporate executive of the future. Career oriented, sharp, focused, a complete set of qualities that are required for making of a future corporate leadership. These are the qualities she reflected upon the students she was guiding and mentoring at Trishul NGO. Beside helping smaller children with academics she was totally focused on helping one of Trishul student Shruti Vyas who was appearing for 10th Grade (SSC) board exam. She was not only very hard working but a absolute task master with her students, she expected them to put the same sincere effort she put herself. She also offered to help Shruti whenever she required for future career guidance, she was more like an elder sister to her than as a faculty.

Ishana is one of the volunteers who would not just take initiative but ask for more assignments and more work. She shared several ideas with Trishul Women Empowerment Team, and was very open critique for anything she felt was not done perfectly. It was a delight to have a volunteer like Ishana Mantri as part of Trishul NGO team.
