Robotics Workshop

Free Robotics Workshop was hosted at Trishul NGO (Trishul Learning Centre), the workshop was hosted by Team Circuit Maker: (Part of Activity based Learning at Trishul Learning Centre)

Background

The Robotics Workshop event was co-hosted by team "circuit makers", as part of their community outreach program for the prestigious international robotics competition they are participating in, FIRST Tech Challenge. 

This competition has 3 main segments: robot game, community outreach, and self-sustainability. 

Team Circuit Makers are a team of 8 students and will be competing against teams from pan India at Pune on 24th February 2018.

NGO Host of the Event
Trishul NGO is a registered NGO, and two of its core projects focus on "Children" and "Women Development and Empowerment" through "Trishul Learning Centre (TLC)", and "Trishul Women Empowerment Program (TWEP)". Around 28 children from Trishul NGO attended the workshop.

Zen Doodle Workshop

Trishul NGO hosted a free Zen Doodle Workshop for children in collaboration with SKilltivate, Whitehat Edutainment Pvt. Ltd.  


Details of the workshop:

Date – 25th March 2018.
Time – 14:00 – 16:00 PM
Venue – Trishul NGO, Versova
Title – Zen Doodle
Artist – Preet (Current Student at ISDI Parsons)
Participants: Children from Trishul Learning Centre (Age between 6 years to 14 years old.


Material and Venue to be organised by Trishul NGO:
  • Art Sheets
  • Colour pencils
  • Sketch pens
  • Brushes
  • A chart paper for the teacher to demonstrate

Volunteering DJ Sanghvi Students

Computer Engineering Students of Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai (Anuj Jain, Arnav Jalui, Arnav Jalui, Jahanvi Jasani, Mitali Dave,  Smith Agrawal and Yash Lahoti) successfully completed an internship with Trishul (NGO). During their internship, they helped TRISHUL in redesigning the website and also conducted a Digital Marketing Campaign during the month of May 2017.
