Maushi - Vandana Parbale - Women Empowerment

CELEBRATING WOMANHOOD-💞

We At TRISHUL believe that Empowering a WOMAN empowers the whole family which in turn empowers the whole community and Nation.

So for one week leading to Women's Day, we will introduce you all to the ladies of the TRISHUL WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TEAM ...

Because
EMPOWERED WOMEN, EMPOWER WOMEN✨

Today we start with Vandana Maushi...

Vandana Parable, fondly called Maushi, the senior-most member of our women's team originally from Ratnagiri, residing in Mumbai for 10 years and associated with Trishul since 6 years. She's kind and humble, whose experience adds value to the center. A skilled artisan in stitching, embroidery, and painting. According to her Trishul has given her the confidence to face every situation in life and financial independence. Trishul is her second home especially after the marriage of her children and the loss of her life partner. MORE POWER TO HER.

Maushi has the same level of enthusiasm for learning new things that a child shows during learning their favorite subject or activity. The picture was clicked during an advanced stitching workshop.

Struggles will always be our greatest teachers

I think the way our struggles mold us they will always be our great teachers. I come from a small village near Mumbai. I have strived hard for even of the smallest things like catching bus each day to school and cooking for myself. That has certainly made me a great cook but to be honest I feel on my toes and I can see my castle building brick by brick. From the time when I had to drop my Third year to the journey of successfully completing my M.A History degree I have seen my self-growing persistent. I have been in teaching for last 10 years and the only best way I can contribute to people around me is by helping them in all the way I can. I want to be influential and set examples for people that life is too short to settle and crumble. On the other hand, it is too short to achieve the aspiring dreams a man can have thus make the most of this moment and love fullest.

I was always fascinated by the power of education

I was always fascinated by the power of education. Learning something new creates the feeling of self improvement . The only thing that makes my life really happy is the feeling of being educated. I study in Versova Welfare High School and each day i am working hard to learn English because that's the language of the world. Trishul is a second home to me where I learn and grow. I guess the ultimate way of making difference is by doing what you love and sharing that with the world. I don't fear failure in class but i fear the failure of being stopped. So each new day something new has to spark up .
